Paste or type it in. Line breaks and spacing are kept exactly as you enter them.

Writing it in Google Docs? Open the doc, press Ctrl-A then Ctrl-C (⌘ on a Mac), and paste it here. Your line breaks come with it.

A photo of the work is fine — shoot it flat, in daylight if you can. JPG, PNG or HEIC. Send the best version you have; anything too large to upload is resized for you.

On a phone, "Choose file" opens your camera roll and Google Photos directly — you don't need to download anything first.

E.g. "Acrylic on canvas, 11 × 14 in" or "35mm film".

Optional. If your piece lives in a Google Doc, paste the link and the editors can look at the original as you wrote it.

Please still paste your writing above. A link stops working when a doc is moved, deleted, or when an account closes at graduation — what you paste above is the copy the magazine keeps.

Check the sharing setting on that link before you send it — set it to anyone at your school with the link, or the editors will only see a "request access" screen.

You asked to stay anonymous. A Google Doc or Drive link shows the editors the account that owns it, and your name with it. That's fine if you only want your name kept out of the printed issue — but if you'd rather the editors didn't know either, leave this blank and paste your work above instead.

Whichever issue is currently reading submissions.
